Does It Really Matter?

All Wrongs Avenged!

Does it really Matter?
If we all have our religion
When we haven’t figured out a way
To live in peace among each other
We’re shamelessly striving
To force our principals upon our brothers
Talking without listening leaves us
Closed to any hope in life
Who even said that we are right?
But Does It Really Matter?

Does it really matter
That we stand in grand Cathedrals
While so many people lay on streets
Victims of our segregation
Could the billions of dollars
That we use to house our congregations
Feed the starving children that will
Pray their soul to keep tonight.
Someone clear this in my mind
Does it really matter
Does it really matter
Does it really matter

What are we doing
What have we become
Have we lost perspective on what’s important
And what salvation is built upon
Are we one with the faithless
Do we impress Him with our lack of Love
Forget the very reason that He has put us here.
That he has put us here.

And Will It Really Matter
When you stand and face the Father
And justify the things you’ve done
Will He let you through the gates of Heaven
Do you think He’ll be happy
Do you think you satisfied Him
And if he’s not what will you do then
With no more time to prove yourself
Will you wish you would have helped?
Does it really matter?
Does it really matter?
Does it really matter?
